1) Work in groups (the same groups as you worked on for the WW1 context google doc) on one of the 4 posters you have been assigned. Fill in the A3 table with examples of elements of design, images, colours, words, phrases, or other features that work to persuade people to do or think something specific. Make sure you fully explain your points on the chart. You will present these after the trips.
2) When you finish the task above, find another propaganda poster from WW1 and annotate it individually (you may print it or take notes on a separate piece of paper). Make sure you note AS MANY different features as you can and fully explain HOW they convey the ideas intended by their creator.
3) Then, write a paragraph explaining the purpose of your poster and how this is conveyed through 3-4 different features/aspects of the poster. Remember to use the SEE (Statement/Point, Example, Explanation) format, with a topic sentence to set up your overall argument).
